Craftrak

I joined in with some new fun to hit the card making world.
Make a card use the number on the reverse to log it in Craftrak, send the card and both receiver and sender can track the card.

My very first Craftrak card made and ready to post on Monday. All SU stamps were used to make the card.

and the 2nd made using the Indian Summer stamp set by Rubber Stamp Tapestry.

This is so much fun, you don't know what you are missing out on, your card could end up anywhere in the world.

Waltzing Mouse Stamps Blog Hop - Roses in Bloom

When Claire from Waltzing Mouse Stamps asked me to be a Guest Designer for her March release I was overjoyed to pitch in, Claire is such a talented Gal and I admire her greatly.
When I opened the stamp set Roses in Bloom my jaw dropped to the floor, it is one of those sets that will be used over and over again with endless possibilities.
My first project is a gift box with the rose stamped 3 times onto soft peach coloured card then shaded with Promarkers and then cut out and built up a few layers to make the rose pop.
I added a couple of die cut corners and sponged the edges of the box lid and die cuts with a soft Bark versacolor ink pad.

Attention to detail...

The pretty peach ribbon and the Mother tag are just enough to decorate the sides of the gift box.

For my 2nd project I made a Mothers day Card

14x14cm card a pretty pink paper from my stash a Spellbinders pendant a pretty satin ribbon and Waltzing Mouse Stamps.

Stamps were coloured with Promarkers in lemons and pinks.

Attention to detail...

I used the Lattice Pendant die from spellbinder to create a trellis effect behind the rose and buffed the edges of it in pink ink. the centre of the rose I used a sun punch and cut down the spike then curled each spike inward then added a gem to the centre to make it pop.

Be sure to visit Claire for more projects and all of the details to her fabulous stamp sets and be prepared for a dint in your plastic friend because I'm sure you will want all of them.

Cherry Blossom - Rubber Stamp Tapestry

A bit of blending and a stamp set from Rubber Stamp Tapestry called Cherry Blossom.
This is one of the stamp sets that UK Stockists were buying from us at the NEC so look out for it.

Now who would have thought the the stamps that made the card is actually from this stamp set, I was inspired for the card from Toni on my design team she was beavering away on the Craftrak Stand at the NEC and I gave her this set to play with.

La Pashe brings you Rubber Stamp Tapestry

Tropical Garden stamp set, card and matching envelope, Stockist in the UK can now get these wonderful Peg Stamps from La Pashe.

Oh did I mention that La Pashe is now the UK Distributor for Rubber Stamp Tapestry?

something that I am very excited about, I loved the attention these little peg stamps get, my motto for the day is Ink Once and Stamp Twice.

This is Craig our sales manager, I get the feeling he is either after my job or a closet crafter waiting to get out.

My desk all ready to show some techniques to those that wanted to watch.

Before the doors to the show opened I caught a shot of Jim about to put pencil to paper.

Some of the requests Jim had for drawing images left him scratching his head.

Hobby and Stitch International

What a surprise I got this morning when I opened the curtains, isn't it gorgeous?
A crisp fresh early morning start to the day.
A quick photograph before getting ready to head over to the NEC for the Hobby and Stitch Trade Show.
I met up with Kirsty Wiseman (bless you Kirsty) a lovely lady that I was thrilled to meet up with and I even managed a try of her precious lip balm.

Here I am taking to the animals, just call me Dr Doolittle ha ha, actually this is the Crafters Companion Stand, Beatrix potter no less.

A shot of the team at work on the Craftrak stand, I promise that Toni was not doing a strip, she was merely taking off her cardigan ready to set to work creating a Craftrak card.

Gary and Danielle are explaining how Craftrak works & it does work fabulously.

Laura is in the background talking through the experience of it all to another trader needing to be part of this exciting new concept to come into the crafting world.

Flippin' Men Stamps - Golfer

Another card made with the Flippin' Men stamps by La Pashe, soon to be in a craft shop near you.
This is the third sample made on Create and Craft.
I stamped onto patterned paper and pieced in the cap, tank top and trousers and then coloured the rest with watercolours, I used the same pattered paper at the bottom of the card wrapped a gold ribbon around the paper to finish.
