Bubble Heart by Mo Manning

When I was younger I used to chew Anglo Chewing Gum, much to my Mams dismay, you could stretch it right out and twirl (swing) it around your finger, making sure your finger was wet enough for it not to stick to it, you could stretch it over your tongue and nip it between your lips and your teeth and suck inwards to make the most refreshing clacking noise and of course you could blow the most mahousive bubble that would burst and stick to your face.
However all of this said I wish I’d come up with this idea, Anglo bubble gum would have been just perfect for it.

Coloured with Copic markers and chalk pencils.

Winter Fairy Manty

Did you know that mostly I do not like illustrated fairy’s? I always feel there is something just not quite right about them, it could be that they don’t seem to come up to my expectations that I have in my memories of thinking about them as a child, yet when Mo Manning draws them I simply love them, I think it is the real childlike look that Mo captures, the little tubby tummy and navel.

Coloured with Copic markers and Chalk pencils, Wording cut out on my silhouette portrait.

I could just pinch this little one.

I added a few babs of glitter glue to finish along with some dew drops, stick pins, gems from Mei Flower and a pretty ribbon.

Blog Hop-circles September1

You should have landed on my blog from Mina

I'm using Roxy from Mo’s Digital Pencil for my hop card and she is brilliant for those hard to do teenage girl cards.

Roxy4

My circles were punched from a matching paper then mounted on foam pads to make them pop.

My image was coloured with Copic markers and Chalk Pencils.

Isn’t she just perfect.

Roxy3

Now I’m the last on the hop, the donkey’s tail so to speak but if you haven’t started it yet hop right over to Gretha and start at the beginning as she has something amazing to show you.

Don't forget to leave comments along the way as there is a couple of spot prizes on comments left

Daylight’s TM Vogue Floor Lamp

daylightTM has upped the style stakes with the introduction of the Vogue Floor Lamp. This lamp offers the best in flexibility and luxurious design, perfect for those who love enjoying their favourite hobbies without compromising on style in the home. The lamp comes complete with a beautiful brushed chrome finish and an elegant cream satin fabric shade. Additionally a fully flexible neck allows the bright 20W daylightTM bulb to be directed exactly where you need it – perfect for true colour matching and small details!  A cleverly designed accessory,  magnifier attachment.

Vogue_floor_lamp

Lighting is free from flicker and glare, helping you carry on enjoying your favourite hobbies with no risk of tired or strained eyes. You will be surprised how much longer and later you can enjoy your favourite hobbies! Furthermore, the lamp is low heat and low energy, and comes with a large stable base which slides perfectly underneath your sofa or armchair.

Personally I think it looks perfect for the crafters without their own craft space, many lady's work in the comfort of their living room on a tray whilst watching TV, this is something that they wouldn't need to put away when they have finished crafting.

Tomorrow the Dream Team are having a Blog Hop day so pop back as you are in for a treat.

I can feel the chill in the air already, I’ll be digging out the higher tog quilt by the weekend much to Chris’s dismay.

Before I finish I have a funny story about Grandson Jacks day at school, he was chattering away to his Mam.

Jack- 'Mam- the teacher said God today...
His Mam- 'were you learning about Him?'
Jack- 'no- and she said in the name of the Father, the Son and the mouldy wizard!'

Ermm I think that should be “Holy Spirit” Jack.

Saturday is a together Day for Chris and myself, weekends we take time out to be together and enjoy each others company.

Today I declined from the cycle ride but Chris went out early morning and come home like a drowned rat, he was soon showered and ready for the rest of the day together.

It was a naughty kind of day, it started well with porridge and banana for breakfast but then we did the sin of going to Dalton Park and grabbing a Latte to go from Thornton’s (you always get a chocolate to go with the coffee, now if that wasn’t bad enough we had to pass by Millie's cookies and a toffee cookie was calling our name, not one but two each, oh well I’m sure a cycle ride tomorrow will sort that out for us.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend too.

Paint your own Canvas

Sometimes we need to take the plunge and paint our own Canvas in life and I found just the image to express this and make an inspirational card with.

Joanie by Mo’s Digital Pencil

Joanie

This is the figure that I am aiming for with my healthy eating, I may need a wizard to go with her to work a bit of body magic for me.

Having said that I have been back out on my bike and did a healthy 10.5 miles tonight, I’m in training for the up and coming bank holiday as I just know Chris is going push me over the weekend.
