First up is the Booties I had a basic crochet pattern but adapted it to have a sock top with a roll down cuff, the pattern I had stopped at the ruffle and then tied with ribbon at the back, I'm not so keep on cords and loose ribbon on baby clothes and figured this way they wouldn't keep dropping off the baby little foot.
My Blanket is ongoing and I think I will add a scalloped edge to it to finish it off but it is coming along very nicely.

Oh golly gosh, these are sooo cute!
Those booties are so gorgeous. When threading ribbons through booties/mittens and the like, just put a few sewn stictches into the back to hold the robbon in place. Baby will not be able to pull the ribbons out then.

very clever with the booties. beautiful. when your drawer gets full and you still have the need to crochet, you could make extra booties for your local homeless shelter or unwed mom's home or whatever you have over there. in our area we have a group that provides birthday parties for kids in shelters and also baskets for new moms that are homeless. just a thought.
this is adorable.....I make blanket for my grand-children all the time.
