A stepper card made on one of yesterday's Craftinator shows at Create and Craft, it was made with the Mariposa collection.

Such a pretty die set.

Adventures of Ted (crochet)

I just couldn’t resist dressing Ted in the Photo Props before I handed them over.

I’ve loads more ideas to make more props so I have a feeling my hooks are going to be very busy.

All Finished Engagement Cake (Cake Lace)

I managed to get the cake finished, I have to say that it has been so long since I did any cake decorating I was worried how this would turn out.

Natalie loves it so that is a relief.

I even tried the Cake Lace for the first time, I have to say that it is so easy to do and so very impressive to look at.

I made all of the roses leaves and hearts and even did a bit of piping, Not too shabby considering how long it is since I did any of this.

Crochet photography

I have to day that the title of this is a bit tongue in cheek, what I have actually been doing is making crochet photography props.

We have friends in the photography business and when they told me what they wanted for their baby photography I jumped at the chance to help out.

I can't wait to see the first photographs done with the props.

So here is what I have made so far, no babies with my photography just the items.

Flower hat.

An aviator hat.

Long tailed elf hat.

And then this one, a newborn baby Hammock, I didn't have a baby to put inside it but I did have a beautiful Steiff Bear. Hammock was made with a Super Chunky Chanille yarn.

Cake Decorating

Something that I used to do years ago and do very little of now, my youngest daughter Natalie got engaged to Adam at Christmastime and is having a Party in the beginning of March as it was a total surprise to her and so Adams Mam has made the cake and covered it and I am to decorate it.

So here it is the top piece all done, I will show you the finished cake very soon but as you can guess from the colour of the roses their cake is deep purple.
