Lets Make Copic Flowers.

Wouldn’t it be fun to make some flowers to match your Copic markers or any other alcohol markers that you colour with?

I love the little resin flowers that you can buy but they can work out rather pricey. then there is the problem of finding the right colour.

So I decided I would make my own in the colours that I liked.

So I started with a multi pack of polymer clay, these packs are great starter packs to build up your colours and they are from Wholeport  20 colours for only $5.45

The white is important to have because you can lighten any colour with it just by needing it into another colour. You can also mix the colours together to achieve different shades.

I used this 3-Hole Chrysanthemum Mini Silicone Mould  only $1.99

All you do is soften the clay by rolling it in your hand and then press a pea sized amount into your flower mould.

All that I need to do now is bake them in the oven for 20 minutes and they will be good to go.

Hazy Summer Days

I’m keeping the summer theme going here and doing a sun dance every night, it may not magic good weather for us but is sure does keep Chris amused ha,ha!

Just Inklined to Hop

It’s the first Monday in the month so that can only mean one thing, Blog Hop day for Just Inklined.

Our theme this month is Birthday celebration and Tammy is our host. you should have hopped my way from Tangii if not go back to the start as I would hate you to miss anything.

Today I’ve used Seaside Beach Huts, I thought as we are starting to get some sunshine weather this would be perfect for a relaxing Birthday card.

Coloured with Copic markers and Chalk pencils, I found a nifty big sun button and used raffia to tie on some seaside charms.

Just a Note–Mummu’s Letter

You know what it’s like, there is times when you just need a notelet card to send to someone, I love getting a letter, Katie Renz used to send me letters giving me an insight into what she had been up to and how the family were doing, I loved receiving them.

This image is just perfect for this type of notelet card.

I kept it clean and simple with just a knotted ribbon and a hand written tag.

 

What a Donkey

I don't know what it is about Donkey’s but I just can’t help myself.

This is Precious and Bridie from Digital Delights stamp set Donkeying Around

Precious is simply delightful with her big bow, the teardrop pearl charm is from Wholeport and can be found here

Both are coloured with Copic markers and chalk pencils.

Bridie is all saddled up and ready for rides.

Something Old Something New – Grad Cap Box

This is something Old Something New that the Design Team for Creations by AR are doing each week, every week one of us will share something newly made from one of the older templates in the Creations by AR shop.

I decided to showcase the Grad Cap Box this week as I know many of you are preparing for the Graduation season and this could get many of you a head start.

Just think that little scroll could be a special gift like a rolled up Money or a show ticket, just to say how proud you are and well done.

I stamped the cap top in black ink and found a beaded tassel in my local haberdashery store.

Baby Fairy Ladybug and Free Card Template

I know many of you will be packing your children off to university this year and it will be hard to let go of the apron strings, not only for you but also for them to leave home for the first time.

When I saw Baby Fairy Ladybug from Mo’s Digital Pencil I thought it would be fun to make a Ladybird card and then once I got the idea I soon realised it was like a Mother keeping her young safe, well that's what us Mum’s do best yes?

I made my own Ladybird template for the silhouette, it has a stand which attaches at the back and the wings are separate, I added a brad so that they would open and close for posting.

I coloured the gorgeous Baby Fairy Ladybug with Copic Markers.

I know you will probably want the template so I have it in three different files for you, just click on the name of the free file template you want and it will open for you to download.
