Swedish Star Student–Washi Tape

I thought I’d get to work showing you how you can put together a pretty card with the Washi Tape from Fantastic Ribbons I love this stuff so simple to use.

I teamed it with Swedish Star Student digi by D’arcy’s Diaries

So no backing papers just Washi Tape here, I used the Candyfloss collection.

I coloured the image with Copic markers and added buttons and ribbons.

I will be at Imag-e-nation at Crowther Industrial Estate, Washington, Tyne and Wear, tomorrow demoing Indigo Blu Stamps and mega flakes from 10am till 2pm, I’d love to see you all there. There will be table top sales and totally a fun day out. We’ve even persuaded Jim our Artist at La Pashe to demonstrate his skills.

Superb Olympics

I was thrilled with the opening to the Olympic games, it depicted the English history and told a story, I sat glued to the TV, I had a few near tears when we remembered those that were no longer with us and Emeli Sandé sang Abide with me,Joyous that children were a major part of the ceremony and a big shout out to Sir Tim Berners-Lee the inventor of WWW as without him I couldn’t be writing this now so I thought very apt that he was there too.

Very sad that Muhammad Ali, a 1960 Olympic gold medallist , came back for the Opening Ceremony and looked so frail (God Bless)

The Olympic cauldron was simply amazing,it was made up of a copper kettle representing each country that was taking part in the games and each kettle was petal shaped and once lit they all joined up to make the cauldron.

You can see it in it’s glory here

Wherever you are in the world good luck in the games.
