Spellbinders Die Storage

I don’t know about you but my dies and not just the spellbinders ones end up rattling around in a draw and I have to rummage through them to find the one I want, I have some of the smaller ones in an album but the larger ones and the border dies left me with a storage problem.

I was contacted by a company which asked if there product was something that I’d like to take a look at, so i popped over to check them out and soon realised that they could have the answer to the die storage problem.

So I was thrilled when I realised that it worked.

I know it looks like a black A4 a piece of black card but it is in fact an A4 sheet magnet, as you can see you can fit loads on it and better still it has enough pull power to keep them in one place, I even stood the sheet up to make sure they wouldn’t fall of, I then give them the shake test and they still held fast, the reverse side of mine is red but they come in a few different colours so they could be colour co-ordinated to the dies.

The Company is called First4Magnets and it does just stop at sheet Magnets, take a look at the size of these ones in their craft magnets and because they also do self adhesive ones they would be fabulous for the like of handbag card closures.

I was so blown away with the size of some of them that I added a 5 pence coin next to them to show you.

I know that Chris (long suffering husband) has his eye on some of them for his model making.

Just Inklined to Blog Hop–Pleats

Its that time again for the Just Inklined Blog hop and this month I am the host and I have chosen Pleats as the theme.

The blog hop start with me so you are at the right place, I know all of the girls have been working hard on their projects so remember to leave them all a comment for a chance to win a spot prize.

The image I used is called Poppy Cluster and it’s gorgeous, it is one of the new digital stamps and can be found here

So on to the pleats, I used a Martha Stewart border punch on some red card and scored lines on my ScorPal and carfully pleated and added it behind my image. I used Copic markers and Prisma pencils to colour the Poppy Cluster.

I used some prima resin poppies and a Cheery Lynn flourish die.

I also used some gorgeous pre-pleated ribbon from Ribbon Carousel behind the image.

Hope you like it and got a little inspiration, you now need to hop over to the wonderful Tammy’s blog as she is next on the hop and don’t forget to leave comments.

Cowgirl

Another card to showcase from the Victoria Case Stamp images, I didn’t think I would get a card made today as I’ve been cooing over my new great niece Amelia Grace, I hate to say it but I forgot to take my camera with me but I’ll take so pictures later to show you, she’s such a doll.

Cowgirl available here

She’s a bit cheeky don’t you think? Coloured with Copic markers and Prisma pencils and edged with Spellbinders edgabilities.

I sort of sensored the close up with my watermark ha,ha.

I also used a memorybox flourish die and twistered it to make a corner and added gems from Mei Flower to the flower centers then used my trusted Cuttlebug to emboss the base card with a sizzix embossing folder.

Nail Results

Ok nails are done, I have to say they are much better than they were but not as good as I would have liked.

As you can see from the pictures below I didn’t have much for them to work with. I struggle to grow my nails with the psoriasis and I would have like to have kept them totally natural but because I wasn’t totally happy with the result I painted them.
