Lady Victoria Digi Stamp from KennyK Downloads is sure to please the man in your life ha ha very naughty lady.
I used Hot off The press background papers and some AB crystals from MeiFlower loads to choose from and very affordable.
The star border is new from Tonic Studios it is a geared lever border punch which cuts through card like butter, up to 400gsm I found these waiting on my doorstep when I got home from work.
I had to test them out straight away and I’m very impressed with the ease of use anyone who has problems punching out should give these bad boys a try.
So back to lady Victoria, she was coloured with Copic Markers.
After yesterdays fiasco I’m really pleased with today card, I love the nostalgic feel to it.
Urchin with bird by Mo’s Digital Pencil is so so sweet, I kept it to browns and pinks with touches of white glitter to set it off.
There so much going on with this card, Marianne Dies for the flowers and flourishes, Cheery Lynn Doily Die, Marianne Designer background papers, I used a Tim Holtz snowflake embossing folder on the base card, I stamps a snowflake in the bottom corner of the notes paper some ribbon and lace and the December word is a Sizziz die and a couple of pearls set into the flower centers,
Image was coloured in Copic Markers.
You know when you think you have a design sussed then it all goes terribly wrong well this is one of those cards and it is destined for the dustbin.
I stuck down the frame on top of the image then realised that it wasn’t central and that I didn’t like it, it was stuck fast so it had to stay. I love the Christmas Door digi stamp by Just Inklined but the card I made I don’t love.
I got the chance to work with some new images and I have to say that I jumped at the chance, I love working on something that is out of the box so to speak, Steampunk is amazing to work with it’s Grungy yet Victorian and all about incorporating elements of science fiction, mechanical and fantasy so out came the sprocket and ink and I set to work.
I mixed and matched digital stamps from Wonderland Stamps, through in some sprockets chains and a time piece and a few crystals.
Images coloured with Copic Markers, I spritzed the sprockets with Tattered Angels glimmer mists and distressed the DCWV designer papers with black ink.
