Bah! Humbug! Scrooge - Mo Manning

well I don't know about all of you but I do know many people like this next fellow I'm about to show you.
I used Copic Markers and prisma pencils to colour Scrooge and I teamed DCWV designer Papers and teal card and did lots of layering and a bit of distressing around the edges, I uses spellbinders Nestabilities Labels on the focal image, a bit of ribbon knoted and a bit of love to bring the card together..
You can buy the Scrooge digi stamp here

Broked - Mo Manning

This is a sight we often see with our children, sometimes they love their toys just a little too much ha ha.
I used Broked by Mo Manning for my card today, you can purchase her here.
I used a Martha Stewart border punch along strips of designer paper then folded it into a concertina, joined both ends then pushed it flat using card scallops glued in place to hold it into the medallion shape then added a button on top as an embellishment.

A close up of the little lady herself, coloured with Copic markers then cut out and mounted onto the Spellbinders Nestabilities circles.

Irma and Vieno - Ice Ice baby

I couldn't help singing Ice, Ice baby when putting this together.
Irma and Vieno are certainly Ice babes and can be purchased here from Mo manning.
I used one of my own background papers (scroll down the page for them) then matched their clothing to the papers, coloured with copic markers. sparkled with stickles embossed with a sizzix snowflake folder then added a bit of love to bring it all together.

Attention to detail...

Stickles glitter glue added to hats, pom poms and snowflakes to give it that icy feeling

Classic Wedding Shoe - Just Inklined

I went for the soft dreamy classic look with this card, I figure every wedding card sould be dreamy, the shoe was coloured with Copic markers in natural colours then edged with a gold liner pen I added the above image to try to shoe you the gold on the shoe.

For details of the shoe scroll down to the bottom of the post.

Attention to detail...

I love this fall embossing folder by Sizzix the leaves just pop right out from the page, I only embossed 2 opposite corners on the top car with the wedding shoe on then edged this with the beautiful twill tape ribbon from Craft Fairy

A couple of punched out leaves scored and curled and a pearl added to the center.

Wedding Shoe can be purchased here

An Act of Kindness

There comes a chance in our lives to give a little something back, my husband did just that a few years ago when he took aid to Belarus in Russia he made a difference in the lives of young orphaned children and the experience left a dent in his heart knowing of the sorry of these children had known.

Then two years ago I was contacted by Nika, a beautiful lady who followed my blog I soon found out that Nika's husband is a missionary and they travel Russia trying to make a difference to the lives of others.
Nika asked if I could help in getting some Paper Dolls that I had made and given away so that her little girls could have some as she knew that they would love them.

This is where Mo Manning stepped in and allowed me to send coloured ones of them to her.
I've added a preview further down the page of the coloured images.
This is a picture of Nika and her family aren't they beautiful?
It take a special kind of person to give up their lives to helping others and below we have a special family that does just that.
You can read about their journey on Nika's blogs
