Keswick ~ take a trip with me

Clicking the views on the way

still clicking

Nearly there, you get always tell by the sight of a church that there is soon to be a village to explore.

This way to the shops...

Now, will my bum get through there?

well it did so follow me to the shops...

We could hear these old boys playing as we entered the main shopping area of Keswick, hey they were really good, little kiddies dancing along and the older folk clapping to the rythmn.

It was Market day at Keswick I love people watching and can amuse myself quite happily just watching all around me.

Even in the hussle and bustle of a shopping street there is still beauty to be found.

As we were returning to the car I took this shot, I don't know if you can see the little specs ay the very top of the hill but there were people up there walking the fells.

Toffee Rose ~ A Rose is a Rose

Started the card with a dusky taupe base card then cut a caramel coloured card slightly smaller and pierced holes all around the edge of it, I joined up all of the holes with a chocolate inked pen to make faux stitching.
I inked up the sentiment with close to cocoa ink and stamped this in the top section of the card then wrapped a ribbon around and knotted it before attaching this to the base card.
On cream coloured card I stamped the rose stamp using close to cocoa and caramel ink then carefully cut out the rose and leaves and mounted them onto the card using foam pads.

Sailor Boy ~ Ollyfant

Again more staps from the Ollyfant Beach stamps, I think this one will come in handy for my Grandson when he's a little older.
the stripes on the card were cut from card stock and glued in place and the image was coloured using Promarkers.

Attention to detail...

I used a sewing machine to add a couple of lines of stitching and a couple of starfish shaped button with a ribbon tied through.

Sailor Girl ~ Ollyfant Stamps

New Ollyfant stamps Beach were used, stamped with Momento ink then coloured with promarkers.

Attention to Detail...

I added a ribbon and puckered it across the card using double sided tape to secure it before top stitching across it in white cotton.

The flower was made from scraps of vellum and paper using punches and then the centre flower was a bought one coloured with promarkers to match the card.

Some zigzag sewing in red cotton was added for some extra detailing.
