I saw a card by Jane which had two of these on and fell in love with it so I knew I’d be giving them a whirl. If you are new to colouring and want something easy to colour then this is the set for you, the card was made very quickly in between my prepping for shows.
I just love the simplicity of it. Coloured with Copic markers.

The backing papers were from my stash, one is a DCWV and the other a K&Co, Some Prima blossoms and the most sumptuous silk ribbon from Ribbon Carousel.
For those that asked yesterday, no I didn’t have any ice-cream, I was good.
How on earth can a girl try to make the right choices in healthy eating when her two favourite boys are doing this?
I have been really sensible for the last two weeks and Chris is trying too, but he does keep caving in and needing something sweet, today my Mam called in and she mentioned that she couldn’t stay as she had Ice-cream in the car, of course Jack wanted one and so did Chris.
I give in.
Whoa! I hadn’t realised that the word art sentiments would be so needed. Now don’t all pass out at the thought of Christmas but I guess you’ll be pleased of these when the time comes round.
Please remember to follow my terms of use.
You are free to use my word art sentiments for personal use but please do not share, alter, claim them as your own or sell them, instead link back to my blog. They are copyright protected.
I had an email the other day from a lovely lady asking about round sentiments, I have to be honest when saying it’s not something I think about very often, one reason being that it isn’t very often I add a sentiment and the other being that if I want one I just go ahead and make one, Sometimes we forget that what comes as the normal for one person isn’t or doesn’t come natural to the other.
So here is three that you can use, please follow my terms of use do not share and send people to here if anyone asks you for them.
So it’s my turn for a little tutorial and I have a Flexmarker by letraset giveaway to bout.
First my finished Card the image is by Victoria Case and is called Sitting Angel
I wanted to concentrate on colouring skin as it is one of the things I get asked most about.
I did a quick tutorial video over on the Letraset Blog so to win a set of 12 Flexmarkers head over there and leave a comment and of course leave one her too, I will choose a winner from the comments left, so you have 2 chances of winning if you leave a comment at both here and the letraset blog.
This is what you could win

Talk to the Bear by Mo’s Digital Pencil is quite the madam but adorable none the less
I kept this one Clean and Simple (CAS) as it has been a while since I did that.
Papers are old ones from my stash but I think they were a papermania one.
Ribbon is vintage seam binding from Ribbon Carousel, lace and a few pearls from mei Flower
Such a big thing in a little child's life isn’t it? Out of the safety net that has led them through their life so far, i think it must be really daunting as well as exciting, I remember how tired my two were when they got home, full of chatter of what they had done that day. I also remember feeling quite lost without them and the constant check of time awaiting to go an pick them up from school.
First Day at School by Sassy Cheryl’s you’ll need to be quick to get him as he is in the bargain bin poor soul.
Coloured with Copic and Promarkers and a little bit of prisma pencils
The tape ribbon is from Ribbon Carousel I love it.
Just Inklined has some new images this week and I think Over the Moon would make a brilliant Congratulations card for a graduate, something totally different that the young ones would love.
Cat and the Fiddle for a young musician, and any of the Hick Dick Dock to mark a special time for someone, what a great way to bring a smile to someone you love.
Hick Dick Dock, Cat and the Fiddle, Over the Moon and Hick Dick Dock Shock
Don’t you just love it when colouring and all the colours just fit right, well this one did for me.
I sat and enjoyed the relaxation of colouring without having to rush it.
Sailor Boys by Mo’s Digital pencil I think Mo did an amazing job with this set.
Coloured with Copic markers and prisma pencils. paper from my stash, Prima blossom and ribbon from Ribbon Carousel.
I wanted the card to have a vintage look to it so kept the colours muted, I think I managed it.
This is the full set available from Mo’s digital Pencil
I often get asked what colours I use in my colouring but to be honest I never know, I don’t really have a logic colour scheme as I just test on a piece of scrap card and if I like the blend I use them.
So one of you lovely ladies asked what colours I used for the Hydrangea I new I was going to have to do another to find out, so, it would be logic to do a tutorial video while I was colouring so here it is.
So before you click play, go and grab a cuppa and a slice of cake and sit back down to watch.
Oh my word I hope you can forgive me, this should have been drawn on Friday but as it was my Mams birthday all of my focus was on her.
I know the winner will simply love this tutti fruiti set of Limited Edition Summer Promarkers as the colours are look enough to eat.
Thank you to everyone who entered.
