A Prayer & A Card

I would love it if you would join me in a prayer for a wonderful friend of mine in the US who has recently been diagnosed with cancer of the stomach. I intend sending a prayer and some positive vibes her way until she is fit and well again and would love it if you would do the same. This lady is very special and has the most loving kind heart so please, please spare a thought.
.....................................................................
Broked is just one of a few both boys and girls drawn by the talented Mo Manning he can be purchased here.
Coloured with Copic Markers, background paper edged using a Martha Stewart punch the stickles glitter glue added to the swirls.

I wonder how many parents see this face this Christmas, I know ours tended to break at least one toy during the Christmas period.

Project of the Month Blog Hop - Let It Snow

It's that time again when Mo's Dreamteam gets together and creates a Blog Hop we aim to give you inspiration and a few ooo's and ahh's along the way.

The Theme this Month is let it Snow and was chosen by Peri who is our host this month and she marks the start of the Blog Hop

The image that I choose for my card is Boughs for the Wreath and can be purchased here.

It just oozes nostalgia doesn't it?

I love the richness of this card, coloured with Copic markers and teamed with Kaisercrafts flocked designer paper, Whimsey tickets and the image dotted with glass glitter for the snow.

A close up of the airbrush effect that I used on the imagethis was the start of it, I added shading to the finished piece by spraying a darker green as the figures shadows..

I,m the last on the Blog hop this Month so please make sure you have seen everyones work by starting at the very beginning with Peri you'll be missing out on her fabulous colouring if you don't.

There are still a few days left to submit a card on the DreamTeam blog we are having a DT Call

Hanging the Star

Isn't she simply darling? just the age I love, inquisitive and such fun.

I coloured the image with Copic markers and gave the Copic airbrush another try on the background, the snowflake die is by Whimsey and the word paper by Kaisercraft. I cut out the Peace word and mounted it on contrasting card and lifted it with foam pads

Hanging the Star by Mo Manning is available to purchase here.

Through the Keyhole - Christmas Door

This card was supposed to be for my blog hop on the coming Thursday but I just couldn't wait to show it to you, I did the background with an airbrush, thats a first for me and I was thrilled with the ease of use.
So on to the card.
So who do you think lives in a house like this?
I adore the Door with Wreath image by Mo manning it just totally depicts Christmas to me. I coloured the image with Copic markers then cut around the door so that it opens up, to see who is inside you will need to read the full posting.

Once the door is opened just look who is inside! Santa? isn't it?

I added the Santa Guy behind the door image then cut around the door so that it can be opened.

I think the poor little soul will be traumatised seeing Santa without his beard ha ha.

Would you like?.......

I need your help
As you know, when I'm working with digital stamps I quite often like to drag them to one corner or even add an extra one to an opposite corner of the layout that I'm using on a card, what I would like to know is would it be useful to you all to have that layout all ready to use in a digi stamp square, I was thinking 13 x 13cm square with a grey line border so you know where to cut out the square after printing?
I've added some cards below to give you some examples of what sort of layout I mean, I think 13 x 13 cm would be an ideal size as it means you can still do some layering with contrasting card stock.
Please leave me a comment telling me what you think and if enough think it will be useful I will start adding them to the Just Inklined range.

Chrismas Roses

I used the new freebie from the Just Inklined Blog for my card today, I dragged the image twice over the card corners and added the text and then printed it out, coloured with promarkers and
Prisma pencils, a ribbon a poinsettia, glitter and and easel card shape and then a bit of love to bring it all together.

Promarker colours used, Red Berry, lipstick red, pale pink, pear green, holly, blender pen, tan.

I used Prisma pencils for the shaddows

Just Inklined to Blog Hop - All Stitched Up

The theme this month was chosen by Debbie and that is where the blog hop starts.

we also have a couple of guest designers this Month, Mina and Jeni so it would be lovely if you could pop along and leave them both a comment too.

My image this month for the Just Inklined to Blog Hop is A Little Church in the Snow and it can be purchased here.

I coloured it with Copic markers then added a good sprinkling of the white glittery stuff to set the scene, I did a bit of sewing (against my religion ha ha) in wavy lines adding drop beads along the way, I used the Martha Stewart Pine border punch to frame the image the mounted everything on a light blue card.

Tiny little Aurora Borealis drop beads along the hand sewn stitches.

Next up is Mina who is joining us as a guest this Month and I just know she will have something wonderful to show you.
