Sharing in your Sorrow

sharing in your sorrow2

I’ve had this idea in my head for a couple of days, looking for the image that would fit the card, I knew how the finished layout would look but couldn’t fit the image, then whilst tidying my craft room I came across the stamp set Hopeful Thoughts from Stampin Up

sharing in your sorrow1

It has been a while since I had stamped and embossed so I really enjoyed doing this, not a Copic or Promarker in sight.

Its lovely Jak, simple but very touching & doesnt rub salt on open wounds like most sympathy cards do.

The dramatics of black and white and the simplistic design this card makes it absolutely phenomenal.

Stunning card, Jak. Can I ask if you could do a demo on tying a double bow. They always look stunning when you do them, and I've tried to reproduce them.. To no avail! X Moira

Oh Jak, it is beautiful, as you know I'm using a lot of the "in sympathy" cards of late. I think I will try coping your idea...
Thank you for the inspiration...

How wonderfull that you have used stamps on this card. I enjoy all your work, but I am an addicted stamper,so prefer this to digital images. Love black and white cards as well,so I am a happy little stamper today. Thanks.
