Poppy Garden Luxury Card Collection
Those that know me will also know that I adore Poppies, I love to see fields that a a carpet of reds with the bloom of wild Poppies dancing in the breeze.
That is exactly the feeling that I get with the new Poppy Garden Luxury card collection from Hunkydory.
This collection will launch on Create and Craft on Friday 25th September at 12pm with Annemarie and I will step in on Sunday 10am.
Due to family commitments at the moment, I will only be doing the Sunday Shows for this collection so I hope you will be able to join me.
I have been grabbing a little me time where I could and managed to have some fun with the stamps, card blanks and some of the luxury collection before my shows.
I love that you can get creative with this set.
This was made using one of the Fold Me card blanks, I've had great fun using these and have more to show you in my shows on Sunday.
Again using one of the card blanks and a stamp set, Forever Poppies, this set has seam to seam designs so you can get really creative using them.
I think this is one collection that you just don’t want to miss.

Adorable Scorable with Alcohol Inks
After using the Brusho Art Paints, I suddenly realised that I could get a stunning vibrant effect using the Hunkydory Adorable Scorable and Alcohol Inks. well I wasn’t wrong, I decided to use colours that I would normally shy away from and used yellows and orange and I’m thrilled with the effect.
After such a stressful few weeks it was good to get in the craft room and experiment, I truly champion Adorable Scorable by Hunkydory, if you haven’t yet tried it then you are missing out, quality smooth coated 350gsm card stock with flexible ink that is amazing.
I used cotton white Adorable Scorable to stamp and ink onto and cut some small slithers from the mellow sage colour to make spiral foliage.
I’m back at Create and Craft from Monday with a fabulous deal of new Hunkydory sets at 9am and 6pm Sky Chanel 674.

Brusho Art Flowers
Time to take it a little step further and introduce some stamps into the equation.
Choosing the colours was the first job, flowers - crimson, scarlet, vermillion, gamboge. Leaves – leaf green and lemon.
I used a stamp set from Papertrey Ink to stamp out the flowers, leaves and the swirls on the background in stampendous Frantage Shabby white embossing enamel.
This time I wet the porous card and sprinkled the powder in the places that I wanted the colour, i felt that I had more control of where it was going.
I cut out the leaves and flowers and laid them how I wanted them then added them with pinflair glue gel to give dimension.

Another fun card today using the Hot Glue Gun, Tri Glitter and Seed Beads and Stardust Glitter card by Stix2 and Also the Clear Single Bubble Bloom – Judith stamp, Ribbon Border punch and Tombo pens by Woodware
Within the Tri Glitter and bead pack there is a tube of glitter and micro beads I loved the effect this gave on the hot glue dots.
I used the Edge Crimper from Woodware to distress the edges.

Sweet Stamp Shop April Release
I was thrilled to be asked to do a guest spot for the Sweet Stamp Shop and I am so lucky to be working with a Brand new Stamp set called Cityscape.
I had a play with this one and made a luminar and such fun to make.
Basically I stamped the building in a continuous strip then cut them out, I made a cylinder box with black card and vellum and wrapped the buildings around the base of the box, I used battery operated tea lights for the lighting, of course I had to finish with a pretty ribbon bow.
My next project with Cityscape is a card, I tried to keep it clean and simple.
Stamping out the images in teal, Petrol Blue and Aqua then cutting around them and stacking them one on top of the other using foam pads.
Now head over to the Sweet Stamp Shop Blog for more inspiration and to see all of the other new releases.

Old Fashioned Afternoon
A card made with the Old Fashioned Afternoon stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop
The stamp set has some gorgeous designs on it including a penny farthing bicycle so I had to have it.
I made the balloon into a decoupage image by stamping the balloon twice then cutting one out after colouring it with copic markers I added some Collall gel behind it to lift it up.
Designer papers are from Kaiser Kraft.
All that was left to do was to add some embellishments.

A New Company–Sweet Stamp Shop
Well it is for me, I was asked if I would like to do a guest spot for a Sweet Stamping company and I leapt at the chance to play.
So Lets Chat stamp set by Sweet Stamp Shop
So easy to use and stamps so cleanly. I kept this one quite retro.
Of course I couldn’t resist a bit of 3d work with it.

Lighting the Way
The Garden lamp clear polymer stamp by Just Inklined
I have a lamp very much like this one, our garden path is so dark that we need it for those dark nights. I coloured this stamp with Flexmarkers by Letraset
I used K & Co designer papers and matting and layering.
Brilliant for an everyday card, Sympathy, Thank you, Birthday and even Christmas if you add some snow to the top of the lamp.

Baby Boy Washing Line
I remember the crisp white nappy’s hanging on the washing line, it was a wondrous sight, You had to steep them in the nappy bucket in cold water and Milton Nappy Sanitizer.
Baby Boy Washing Line Clear Stamp by Just Inklined
In cream, team, aqua and a buttermilk shade of Copic markers, papers are from Kaiser kraft and the label shapes and banner were made on the Silhouette Portrait cutting machine.
I love the dinosaur soft toy with it’s tongue sticking out drying along side the clothes.
Finished with a bit of love and a pretty bow and button.

Chapel Window Stamped Card
I simply love this stamp Chapel Window by Just Inklined, it could be used for so many different occasions, Easter, Wedding, Sympathy, Christening, Inspirational, it would be perfect for fundraising cards.
I started this one during the Create and Craft show and finished it when I was back at home.
I added the extra shading to the center circle and used some chalk pencils on some shading.
