As promised I did a template and a how to video of the book insert card.

I have to admit I was really pleased how this turned out.

I know it can look daunting but remember there is only 2 straight cuts to make.

Christmas in June

It's sooner than you think!

 

I'm back at Create and Craft TV at 9pm 22nd of June with the Hunkydory Christmas Craftinator, this a humongous kit that will tick all of the boxes for all of your Christmas cards.

I have decided to show some fancy folds with my demonstrations for the show, I know that I like to make and give special cards for my family at Christmas time and I am sure you will be the same.

As you can see from the image below you also get the special edition magazine with this kit to give you oodles of inspiration.

For thos of you that are planning to watch the show check out my poinsettia brooche that I made out of some of the mirri dazzle card from previous shows.

Strictly for Pet Lovers

Sunday 5th June at 6am I'll be heading my way to Peterborough for the 12 noon show with Dean to showcase the gorgeous Pampered Paws collection on Create and Craft for Hunkydory.

As we are a nation of pet lovers this one is sure to please.

My other shows are 8pm Sunday then Monday 12 noon and 3pm.

Deco Shimmer Hunkydory

I'm back at Create and Craft TV from Saturday through to Tuesday so I hope you will join me at some point as I have had loads of fun with the Deco Shimmer, it is so beautiful and got me thinking of lots of different style cards.

Show times are as follows.

Saturday 6pm and 8pm, Sunday 12pm, 4pm and 7pm, Monday 12pm and 3pm and Tuesday 8am and 4pm.

Collage a Card Little Book

I was thinking that by now you will have started to receive the Little books that were purchased on my last shows so I thought I would show you a couple of cards that I made during the shows.

The first is the locker room (changing room) card.

Using the Adorable Scorable card stock in Cotton White to score and create a tile effect background.

Don't be frightened to play with these sheets, by cutting out the shirts and crushing them it gives the appearance of hanging shirts, if I left the nun crumpled they wouldn't have looked right, they would have looked as if they had been starched.

Next up is the Teacups with Filled with flowers.

Again teaming the image with coordinating Adorable Scorable and matching background card and making it into a centre stepper card.

I think the colours in this one is just lovely.

All about Weddings

This weekend has been all about weddings, my Daughter had a dress fitting and sorted out the wedding car for the special day.

So much to do, invite cards to make, wedding favours to make. They are all planned and we know what we want, just need to knuckle down and collate numbers.

Chris came in from work asking me to make a Wedding card for one of their agents so I set too and made this for them all to sign.

Of course I used Hunkydory imagery and topper sets as I wanted a professional finish with the best card stock available.

 

Using foiled acetate as a designer feature to the front of the card. Using the background card to hide the sticking son the inside of the acetate.

And finishing the back with some pretty card to send good wishes and sign their names for the Happy Event.

Pretty Ballerinas Deluxe Card Collection

This is the most beautiful stunning imagery that I have seen in such a long time.

Hunkydory have totally given sophisticated elegance to this collection for our card making.

 

It's just stunning isn't it?

With this one I tried to give a Tutu effect at the bottom, the collection has both sepia and monotone colour ways and rich gold and silver foiling.

Anyone that love the arts is sure to love this collection.
