As this is the last year of the WW1 Centenary 2014 to 2018, I wanted to commemorate this with something of my own.
Creating a Poppy from Stone Art clay and Powertex, It was quite a task to bring it all together as I wanted a large piece to put in the garden.
After making the poppy I created the seed pod.
My garden is mainly decking and plant pots so I popped them into my neighbours garden to so that you could see how good they look.
A little close up for you.
I will be running a workshop for these and I have added my next couple of workshops below with details of how to book for them.
Wow your poppies are fantastic Jaq, what a shame I live so far away (Way way down south). I would have loved to have joined you on some of these workshops. I am going to one being held in a local Hobbycraft store tomorrow where I will be making a bird house, it will only be the second time of using Powertex but can see why you love it so much.
