We are getting there slowly, hopefully we will see much more improvement by the end of play on Monday. Here is a few photos of where we are up to.
The window wall, still awaiting the rising damp treatment, it has had the coating to stop any more sulphur coming through so at least the first step has been done.
This is the pantry off shot, it has had the same anti sulphur treatment and it now has a new ceiling.
The other walls have been skimmed and are finished just awaiting paint, new skirting boards and coving.
Once all is finished on the walls the carpet will come up ready for painting and skirting boards then when all is finished a new carpet will be laid.
Oh l hate changes but these things have to be done and once it's finished it will be well worth it x
ReplyDeleteWell Jak just think of the finishing line when you are sitting in your fav chair with a nice cupper and saying phew its done!!!!!.

Looks like progress at least! I'm sure it will be lovely when its all said and done and worth the wait!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can only agree to what everybody else here has already said, when it´s all done, it´ll be worth the wait and troubles and you´ll just enjoy it´. I´m sure it´ll look sooo awesome, when it´s finished completely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a job, however, getting the hazard out of the way will make your home safe once again. When it is all done you'll wonder why you didn't do this a long time ago! It will be worth your wait as it will be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI went through all this last year when we had all of downstairs replastered and decorated. I feel for you.
