Not Dropped off the Planet

Well I bet you all thought I'd dropped off the planet, well not quite, I've had the dreaded cold/flu that everyone has had and thought the nose dripping onto my cards would not be a good thing for the receiver of them.

I haven't been doing nothing though.

I have been working hard on something for Monday so don't forget to pop back that day or you will miss out.

Prizes and a big bargain not to be missed all to help my dear friend Katie who I hope you are still keeping in your thoughts.

If you haven't yet read Katie's story then pop over and send her some love by leaving her a comment. I know she reads them all and they seem to lift her spirits.

"Surprise"

You know that feeling, the first day back at work after a lengthy Holiday? well that was pretty much how I was feeling until this landed on my doorstep.

Just look what I found inside the box

Luxury Mince pies, Christmas Biscuits, Crumbly Butter fudge, Butlers Pudding Truffles but wait there's more underneath....

But still I had no idea who it was from, on the outside of the packaging box was printed John Lewis and a citylink sticker.

On the bottom layer is luxury Christmas Pud, a bottle of Brut and special chutney.

All together

But who had sent this to me??

I think I'm a very lucky girl the beautiful gift hamper I eventually found the gift tag which said Merry Christmas and Happy new Year from Letraset it had been sent as a thank you for working with them on their Promarkers.

I lurrrve Letraset.

Purrfect

Talk about the Cats Whiskers, I was like the cat that got the cream colouring this one, she is all but popping off the card.
I used Cheshire by Spesch Stamps i first saw this image done by Mina my DT mate link on my side bar and I fell in love with her, I used Basic Grey designer paper some pearls a pretty polka dot ribbon by craftfairy

I have to say that I am really pleased how this one coloured up.

Two tu-tus

I hope you have all recovered from the New Year celebrations, we had a very quiet one as Chris was at work on New Years Day and even though a drink didn't pass my lips I had the fuzziest head, a walk along the sea front soon sorted that out for me.
So on to my card for today
Sweet little Ballerina's called Two Tu-Tus by Mo Manning and can be purchased here
Round Nestabilities dies to cut out the image which I coloured with Copic markers, I used the airbrush behind the image for shading and teamed the image with DCWV cotton designer papers, 3 buttons a bit of glitter to the fairy wings, a bowed ribbon and a bit of love to bring it all together.

Two darling little Ballerina's
