Just Jack
I told you we had Jack for the afternoon the other day and we had wanted to take him to the seaside but as it happened the tide was in. We had already told him that we were going to buy a bucket and spade and that he could build sand castles.
So Granda to the rescue and as we couldn’t take Jack to the beach to play in the sand, good old Granda brought the beach to Jack.
Jack totally loved it and played for hours.
The next one is another from him watering the flowers for me.
Love that boy.
He is visiting us tonight and we get to get him ready for bed before his Mam picks him up.
I used Nitwit papers for my digital scrapbook layouts.
I used the My Memories Suite to make the layouts.

The Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal–1952/2012
I am bursting with pride for Chris my wonderful husband, he has been awarded The Queens Diamond Jubilee medal for his services in the Fire Brigade to the community.
This is his second medal for this as he also received one for Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee.
I thought you may like to see them both.

I think you will agree that this is such an honour for him.
So proud of you Chris.
Jo Painting - Promarker Blend Sets
I wanted to show the fabulous results you get with the new 3 pen shaded packs of Promarkers, I know that many of you struggle with choosing the colours that will work best together. So all the scratching of head and humming and haring has been done for you and Letraset have put together the shades that will work well for you.
Colour Blend sets that I used.
04 ProMarker Colour-Blend Set – Yellow (shoes)
05 ProMarker Colour-Blend Set – Green (brush pot)
08 ProMarker Colour-Blend Set – Blue (jeans)
11 ProMarker Colour-Blend Set – Magenta (T-Shirt)
Image is Jo Painting from Mo’s Digital Pencil
In the close up of the image you can see just how well the colours blend together. making it easy to get the light and darker shades working for you.
in my opinion anyone who struggles with the matching colours and shading will benefit from these sets.

Just Inklined to Hop–One Layer
Its that time again for the Just Inklined Blog hop and this month Toni is the host and has chosen One Layer as the theme.
You should have landed on my blog from Joyce if not hop back so you don’t miss her creation.
I know all of the girls have been working hard on their projects so remember to leave them all a comment for a chance to win a spot prize.
The image I used was The Blessing and can be bought from here
I have to say it wasn’t the easiest of themes, it is very difficult not to add more but this stretched the mind in a good way.
So simple yet so effective
Next up is the super talented Tammy so keep hopping and remember to leave a comment on each blog.

He Stole my Heart
It has to be said, he definitely stole my heart, I would however of given him it gladly in the blink of an eye.
I simply adore this little man, we had him today and he was as good as gold, he helped water the garden with his little watering can and he just loves being out in the fresh air.
He chatters along asking hundreds of questions which all have to be answered. He also does make believe now which finds me watching and studying him as well as playing along, he jokes and giggles and is totally fun to be with.
He helps make the Yorkshire pudding for dinner, and then up to my craft studio and he did some stamping and made a die cut duck, he likes to get in there as I have a small step ladder so that i get reach to the top of the shelving.
I simply love him.
Baby Girl
As cute as a button this little one.

Gardening Boots ‘His’
If I could send my Dad a card then this would be it. He had an allotment when I was young and grew all of his own vegetables. He’d of loved this card.
Gardening Boots His by Just Inklined
When Dad wasn’t at work he was at the allotment, mam used to put up a flask of coffee for him and I would run up with it, I often dropped the flasks and recall my Mam warning me one day not to drop it, of course I did and was frightened to go back home but Dad told me to say nothing and he took the blame for it. Ha ha I could wrap him round my finger but I worshipped him all the same.
I remember when he bought some chickens, he was to fatten them up and we would have them to eat when they were fat enough, each week he would be asked if they were ready but of course he made the big mistake of giving them names and looked on them as pets, he spent hours making crowdy for them to eat to fatten them up but I don’t think we ever got to eat one.
I could go on for hours about my Dad but I’m sure you want to know about the card.
I coloured it with Copic markers and prisma pencils.
I also made all of the embellishments
The little potato sack was sewn from a piece of sacking and the plant markers made from scraps of card.
now the carrots were a labour of love made by quilling paper then coloured up.
I thoroughly enjoyed making this card up, partly because I reminisced all the way through making it.
