Mays challenge is here and this month the theme is Romance and Roses and I did cheat a little, I was so busy with Create and Craft that it just crept up on me, so the romance is all with tattered lace and the roses ahem is one prima rose at the top.
I made a very clean and simple card using Church (D332) and the Ornate Cross (D246)
I embossed the church die onto the aqua card and then cut around it and then cut out the church in white and over laid it onto the embossed aqua card. It makes a lovely effect.
Now please join in the challenge, it is fun and you get a chance of winning a prize too.
Just beautiful Jak

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Jak, it might be a little cheating and then again why? It is so gorgeous, and I absolutely LOVE it. Wish I´d seen this before last sunday, when I needed a fast confirmationcard and this here would´ve been perfect.
ReplyDeleteHope Chris is better today and a great day to both of you there.
That is absolutely gorgeous Jak, i love that aqua card you use. A beautifully set out card, just perfect..

Wow Jak! That's a fabulous effect. Never thought to do anything like that before. So effective. Love the contrast of the aqua and white. Have been having great fun with your wonderful double bow tutorial too Jak. Check out my progress here: http://craftykiwimama.blogspot.co.nz/search?q=double+bow
