I found a lovely site for materials and haberdashery Terry’s Fabrics, I browsed it all ha ha! I have to do that before making my choices as I kept finding something else I would want.
I decided on a selection of plain organza I thought I could use it for inside of the gift boxes I make but I soon got to thinking of bows. I cut off a thing strip no sewing involved and tied it into a sweet bow for this baby card
It worked perfectly.
Papers used is from Kaisercraft, so many sweet elements in the baby paper pad.
I ended up getting two lots of PVC Fabric, I was going to cover some chair seats but I love it so much that I’m keeping it for the garden table, it’s washable so I will be able to use it over and over again, so sewing big bonus for me.

there is so many designs in this I may need to pop back and get more.
I was thinking that these cut also be cut out to add to cards too as there is no fraying with the PVC Fabric.
a lovely card with that pretty bow

What fun! I used to sew a lot...rarely do so anymore. Hope you have fun with your new goods! Your card is so sweet, Jak! Thanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteLovely baby card and I love the organza bow. I really love organza and organza ribbon. The fabric for your table has cute patterns. I also heard it called vinyl fabric, if it is the same as what you bought. I have a pretty white table in my craft room that is fairly new and even though I have cutting mats on it, I worried about getting ink on it so I bought some pretty vinyl for my table. I no longer worry about my table and my cutting mats sit right on top.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute babycard JAk, really gorgeous with that big organzabow on it. I´m a big fan of organza too, and it looks wonderful for sooo many things.
ReplyDeleteAnd that plasticfabric looks pretty awesome too, and would definiotely look great with the cut out images for loads of things like cards and boxes too.
Great card & a great find Jak!
