Brazilian Night

I really didn't know what to expect, I don't think I've every had a Brazilian meal, at least not knowingly.

We were booked in at 6:30 and thankfully the room had air conditioning and believe me when I say it was so, so needed.

We were greeted at the door by Leona, our favourite waitress.

Such a lovely girl, we had our starter, lots of tasters, one was a prawn salad which was finger licking good.

The main course was meat skewers, jacket potato, corn on the cob and a tomato based side salad and a gorgeous spicy dressing, they just kept coming around with the meat skewers, pork, chicken, beef, sirloin lamb and prawns, totally delicious.

So onto the sweet, I thought it best that I gave you a visual for this.

The evening was a wonderful success so much so I had to try the hat for myself.

  22. Hi Jak,Brazil is certainly an amazing country. I have a friend there & stayed with her for 2 weeks. Her home is in Belo Horizonte which is not a tourist area so is not all dressed up for visitors. She has a 2nd home outside the city on the hillsides & one side is the rich & the other where the slums are. However there is an *in-between* area which is nice but not extremely wealthy so that was where we were. We then flew to Brasilia where she has family & stayed with them. We visited Templo da Boa Vontade (Temple of Peace) & that was an incredible experience. There was a fesival while there & i had the fun of meeting the Brazillian branch of the Batal Band. At that time I was a member of the Liverpool Branch. If you ever get chance to return to Brazil I would reccomend visiting the pyramid.Glad you enjoyed you holiday.
    hugs
