The Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal–1952/2012

I am bursting with pride for Chris my wonderful husband, he has been awarded The Queens Diamond Jubilee medal for his services in the Fire Brigade to the community.

This is his second medal for this as he also received one for Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee.

I thought you may like to see them both.

I think you will agree that this is such an honour for him.

  33. Clap! Clap! Clap! FOR CHRIS. It is always nice when people show their appreciation but receiving a medal from your Monarch is super special. Well done Chris.

That same Lady and her husband Prince Philip won the hearts of millions of us during their visit to Ireland last May.
