Swashbuckerling Beauty

This swashbuckling beauty is Alvida the Pirate from Make it Crafty and I fell in love with her lavish attire and treasure trunk. She's a real beauty yes?

Coloured up with Copic Markers and teamed with a rich satin material paper that I've had since my scrapbooking days. I wrapped this one up in a gorgeous golden yellow satin ribbon and added a gold buckle.

I wanted to share a little piece on LetraTac, I find this amazing for those hard to glue pieces that you need to add to your projects, it is a couple of sheets with a layer of glue between and it comed with a handy tool to make sure you get maximum stick.

You open up the sheet and pop your pieces inside .

Close the backing paper back over the top of your pieces and give it a wipe with the special tool then you are ready to stick your pieces to your project.

As you can see in the next picture they stick beautifully.
It is repositionable until you burnish it with the tool.

  1. Fantastic card Jak and just how you have done it. LetraTac looks wonderful for all those little bits that usually end up in the bin or used in shaker cards.

  3. Great card Jak!
Thx for the tip about LetraTac - I clicked on the link and found the sheets but not the little tool. Does it come in the pack of sheets or do you have to order it seperatly? This looks like it's a "must have" product.

  6. Jak,

I love your pirate card! You have colored her beautifully and looking up-close, it actually gives an appearance of being watercolored! I have never seen that before with Copics and love the technique/style you used to get that effect.

Thanks for sharing the Letraset tool for those little impossible pieces that we all find hard to adhere. I am definitely going to check it out!

  9. Oh wauw your card is just soo cute. I love this little darkling, and you´ve justr done an awesome coloring on her too. Just gorgeous.
I can see, you´ve used one of those buckets on the ribbon, where do you find these?I´ve seen many use different kinds, but haven´t been able to find any around here anywhere and also looked on different websites, but never found them anywhere? They looks sooo awesome, when used on cards, so would really love to find some. Wasn´t it an idea to get them on Inklined´s shop? hint hint?
Sound really great with the Letraset gluesheets too, will definately have to look closer to that as well. Thanks sooo much for the tip about this too.
    Have a wonderful day.
