Choo Choo Productions

I've been itching to show you all this.

As most of you know over the last 6 month or so my husband Chris took up model making and I have to say that his last model is fantastic, it is a row of shops with a public house on the corner.

He wasn’t happy just making a basic row of shops so he altered the model and made it look like the Fish and Chip shop was on fire, ok he did use my Copic Airbrush to make it look smoke damaged but as it is so brilliant I’m going to forgive him this time round.

I made a video of it because I wanted you all to see the special effects that he has made to go inside of it.

Some close up shots of the Model.

If you click on the pictures you will get them to full size and see even more details inside of the shops (fittings and all).

  11. What a great job you've made of that Chris. I've helped my Mum and Dad build a fair few OO models in my time and they take a lot of patience and skill to get looking that good. It is also such a clever idea to put your own spin on this model and will make your layout really unique. What next? model people and a spot of decoupage inside the buildings? I'd love to see what you come up with for one x

    A delight to see.

  42. Absolutely amazing. Have you thought about putting a smoke generator or two in there, or does the idea of heating elements, oil and cardboard in one place offend your firefighting sensibilities?
