Rico Design - Can Can Scarf

Well it isn't very often that I post an image of myself but I was so proud that I made a frilly scarf I just had to show you all.
My friend Lorraine Robinson is totally to blame for setting me off scarf making, when Lorraine said how easy it was I just had to find out for myself .

So no card today but hey just look at my fabulous Scarf, I have started another one too, in burnt orange shades, If you want to know how easy they are to make hop over to Lorraine's blog as she has a tutorial on there.

  1. I love it Jak, i have knitted about 10 of them now and the colour you have on is next on my list. Most of them have been given as birthday/Christmas presents. I couldn't believe how easy they were either to begin with.

  4. Hi Jak. Love it. I think it is my favourite colour and they knit up so quickly. I used a hair bobble and made a ruffle with the wool. Stitched the ruffle to the bobble and then I don't need to tie the scarf.

  6. Love the colour Jak.
Easy they may be but boring as hell to make and I don't like having to concentrate on where my next stitch is coming from. I bought enough of this yarn to make half a dozen and I've not managed half of one yet 'cos I got bored. The part made one has now got buried and is unlikely to be resuscitated! Give me a god old aran any day - lol!
