After being asked so many times how I make the bows for my cards and designs I have made a quick video tutorial for you all, I hope you find this useful
think I will be having a go at tying my bows like that. I always seem to waste lots by cutting off a piece of ribbon and then tying it. Will be doing it Jak's way from now on and saving lots of ribbon. xx Lynn xx
My mother taught us girls how to make bows like that for our hair. I make all my bows this way but with a little trick I leave mine a bit lose in the back so I can run a ribbon in there to attached to my cards then pull the tails tight to hold it together. I was showing my daughter in-law just yesterday how to do this. How funny..
I have neveer seen a bow tied this way before, you have made it look so easy, thank you so much for sharing it. I am having yet another sleepless night it is almost 4.30am I am itching to have a go but dare not wake the family??? Thank you for your inspiration. xx PS, love the new hair!
Wow fab tutorial thank you so much. I don't know how much time I have wasted in past trying to get a half decent bow. Then you go and make it look so easy tehe you are a gem x.
Thanks for that great tutorial Jak, will definitely be giving it a try, up till now have used my 'bow maker' but this looks so much easier. You are always so willing to share with us, thank you. Luv Ursula xx
Your bows always looked perfect and always thought you must use a bowmaker. Thanks for this as I really struggle to get a professional looking bow. Brilliant tutorial!
I've never seen this technique and I've seen a bunch, believe me! I have to say what I like about this is that there are no special tools required and you can easily adjust the size of the loops to make the bow smaller. I will give this a try!
Brilliant!! This is so much better than the results I get from fretting and fussing over them the way I have been doing for so long! Thanks so much for the tutorial, Jak! I have been a silent visitor to your blog since I first saw some of your work on Mo's site but I decided tonight to become a follower. I love your work and always enjoy seeing what you'll come up with next. The pictures you took in York are gorgeous!
