  1. This card is beautiful Jak...love the curled up twine in the background. These markers sound very interesting and I would love to have a try of them. I currently use watercolour pencils and aqua pen. I just read how the are great for blending with water even when dry. Sounds like my type of pen. Thanks for the chance to win.

  6. Your card is beautiful. It's been less than a month that I received my first promarkers and I already love them. I am very curious about these aquamarkers and I would love to test the difference with the promarkers. I would say promarkers for cute and fun characters, aquamarkers for soft and nice landscapes, but let's wait and see! I have put a link to this giveaway on my left sidebar.

  10. Beautiful card! I also use watercolor markers (different brand) but can't get the real watercolor effect with them and would love to try these.

  11. Hiya Jak, fab card love the effects you can get.I am part way through getting the whole colection of promarkers and love them to bits. I love trying new colour mediums and techniques and at the moment use whispers felt tips to watercolour with though they don't blend fantastically well,( it's a bad workman that blames her tools) or maybe it's just me. The aqua markers will go on my wish list as if they blend(probably the wrong term) as well as you show them to, and anywhere as well as promarkers do then these will be fantastic and I may well look like a better artist than I really am. Thanks for the chance to cross some of them off my wishlist. Hope your feeling a bit better too.

  26. thank you so much for that little video Jak, hve picked up some good tips - particularly wetting the paper first never thought to do that! I also have problems with the edges of water colours, but see you have trimmed down the image afterwards - duh - why didn't I think of that!

I have used Lyra aqua crayons, and of course I love my promarkers, but the aquamarkers look fab, and really easy to use, and am really liking the idea of those. It is my birthday next week, so think they will have to be on my wish list for pressies from the family! lol!

Can I ask a question - I often mix my lyra colours by scribbling on an acrylic block and then with a koi brush mixing the colours - I am presuming you can do the same with the aquamarkers?

Thank you once again for the inspiration.

What a brilliant card. My attempts at watercolouring are really pathetic. I would love to win a set of Aquacolours as they would certainly improve my technique, and I wouldn't have to 'bin' so many projects.
