I'm a Gran

I am so honoured to have been birthing partner to Lauren and even more delighted to say that I had the privilege in helping to deliver her baby.

Meet Jack Christopher Anderson
I am delighted to announce that my Daughter Lauren gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.
He weighed in at 7lb 15.5oz and measures 21" he was born today 16th July at 17:29
the picture below was took as 17:32 so the poor little darling was still swollen and covered in goo.
Just look at that head of hair.
Mam and Dad are both doing fine although it was a very long and trying labour and Lauren has lost a lot of blood so likely to need a top up.
And after a little clean up

    Oh I envy you Jak, New babies are so special. I was with my daughter when she had her son. it was so special so I know how you must have felt.
    Lovely photo's, personally I think the first is just as lovely as the cleaned up one. Enjoy.

    Many congratulations Jak on your new addition, and I know Lauren will have appreciated mum being there as I had my mum with me when I had my first and it is such a comfort having mum there when you are going through something so unknown.
