Make a Wish

Wishing You... is a new Stamp set from Papertrey Ink.
I thought it needed a bright card to do the stamp set justice so here it is, I inked the tulip heads with summer sunrise palette ink then smooched some pure poppy ink at the top of the flower heads then cut them out, the dots and wording are stamps from the same set I used these in place of the stems, although they are in the set to use.
The base card is white the deep orange overlay card has been had a border punched out using the EK Success border punch then a bright yellow card embossed with the cuttlebug swiss dots folder and the corners punched using a Kreaxions punch

Paste Eggs

Well I came across a natty way of colouring Paste eggs for easter and just had to give it a go.
Of course I needed white eggs! could I find any? Nope. So I wasn't going to let that beat me and thought I would try it out anyway but with the brown every day supermarket best eggs.
To try this you need
White vinegar
husbands silk shirt or tie
a none metal pan
and some cotton linen (I used socks)
then check out the Matha Stewart site
Now if you imagine white eggs the colours would be quite eggsellent.

A Get Well Card

This card was made for a lady who could do with a few prayers at the moment, it's all ready to pop in the post on Tuesday.
The flowers and the transparency bird was sent to me by my good friend Katie fro the USA so I thought I would put them to good use I used glossy accents all over the bird then sprinkled the crushed glass glitter on top,the deep wine card was stamped with the SU flourish wheel using versamark to create a watermark effect.

Border Punch Card

I used the Kreaxions 3in1 punch to create a frame as the focal point of the card I took a couple of pretty papers and punched the border down 2 opposite edges then turn the border inwards to show the white side of the patterned paper, I then matched the papers one inside of the other to create the frame.
I used the Stamping up It's Beautiful Wheel to stamp on the base card using Close to cocoa ink.
Using the Wishing You Stamp set by PTI I stamped the dragonfly in brocade blue and close to cocoa ink and sponged the edges, using glossy accent I glazed the dragon fly wings and added a pretty copper ribbon to finish.

Damask Holder Folder

I decided to have a go at a card set contained within a folder.

Lauren my Daughter runs a Slimming World group and I thought it would be lovely for them to recive a well done card from her so I set too with making her a modern card set
The stamp set used is Damask by Papertrey Ink.

A view of the folder opened up, as you can see I made a spine and stamped it to match.
The ribbon that ties the folder runs below the white card acrossthe front the spine and the back, the loose ends of the ribbon are tucked inside for photography purposes.

The inside of the folder, I made a couple of pockets to hold the cards and envelopes then added some white punched and staped card on top of the pockets.

Stamped and scored 6 matching cards to slot inside the folder.

I thought the words below would be very apt for a good weight loss, so, they were stamped inside the cards.

Of course I stamped a smalled image onto the envelope as I wanted all to match.
