So how was it made?

A Baby Girl Card

A new Baby Girl Card for my Niece and her Husband
Stamped, glittered and Cuttlebugged.

This is the Little Lady herself Jasmine, I've not yet seen her in the flesh as I don't want to take any of my germs anywhere near her so my Daughter took her card and present for me and took some snap shots so at least I could coo.

Advent House

As soon as I saw this little beauty complete with instructions and a template on Nichole Heady's blog I new it would be a project in the making for me.
My youngest Daughter Natalie is still at home with us and although she is 17 she still likes to have an advent calendar although she hides it out of sight not to look soft.
The house is a perfect alternative to hiding the advent Calendar what could be nicer than 25 of these little houses hanging from the Christmas tree & each one filled with a favorite chocolate and the doors numbered from 1 to 25.

As you can see I only glued down one side of the roof as I figured a Thornton's Chocolate would fit into the house just nicely.

1 down only another 24 to make.

Floral Punch Craft - Begonia

I started this card by cutting an aperture from the front of the card with the plain square Nestibilities die then cut 2 pieces of contrasting coloured card the same size and the base card front, the lighter shade of these 2 pieces I used the cuttlebug birds and swirls folder and embossed the card, with the other piece I used the scalloped edge square die to cut an aperture from the center and layered these and stuck them onto the inside front of the base card.
I used the Spiral Bouquet by PTI to stamp the image on the base card then I outlined this with a quickie glue pen and added glammer dust.
I then made the Floral Punch Craft begonia using the Begonia Theme Punch I also needed the leaves to have shine as from what I can remember the begonia leaf has a waxy appearance, this was trial and error as I needed a glaze that would be flexible, I settled for a product called decopatch and it seems to have worked well.
Finishing by tying a ivory ribbon around the top of the card.

I've added a close up of the Floral Punch Craft here. if you click on the image you will see a close up image.
