Fake Steak Bake - Slimming World Style

Once again I'm trying to be good and make the right choices in my eating, I won't be using the big D word as it sends me into a frenzy before I start.
I am trying to cut back on bread, not an easy task when it comes to lunch for work but last week I made pastryless quiche and this week I've made fake steak bakes for both myself and Chris.

Asda wholemeal pittas, tin of Aldi Hunters steak, mushrooms, onions.

Open pittas and stuff with the above place on a baking tray brush top with egg bake until golden viola a much healthier option.

What a great idea Jak. My husband has dietary problems (medical) and one of the things he is unable to eat is pastry. This looks like a really good alternative to the old meat pie. Thanks.

Oh Jak you are good baking you're own. I too have been good and over the last 6 weeks have managed to lose a whole one stone!!!

Now, I am so a bread lover - especially fresh bread, but I've been doing a nutrition course and you can have fresh bread in the form of Rye or Spelt - both of which I found freshly baked in Morrisons and very nice indeed. Wholemeal pittas are good too and wholemeal wraps are also good.

Sorry Jak - I've waffled on for far too long - but thought you might like the info.

Take care
