An Act of Kindness

There comes a chance in our lives to give a little something back, my husband did just that a few years ago when he took aid to Belarus in Russia he made a difference in the lives of young orphaned children and the experience left a dent in his heart knowing of the sorry of these children had known.

Then two years ago I was contacted by Nika, a beautiful lady who followed my blog I soon found out that Nika's husband is a missionary and they travel Russia trying to make a difference to the lives of others.
Nika asked if I could help in getting some Paper Dolls that I had made and given away so that her little girls could have some as she knew that they would love them.

This is where Mo Manning stepped in and allowed me to send coloured ones of them to her.
I've added a preview further down the page of the coloured images.
This is a picture of Nika and her family aren't they beautiful?
It take a special kind of person to give up their lives to helping others and below we have a special family that does just that.
You can read about their journey on Nika's blogs

Winter Delivery - Mo Manning

Isn't this little fellow just the cutest darn thing you've seen?
his bag is brimming to the top with acorns in preperation for a long winter.
Winter Delivery can be purchased here.
He is coloured with Copic markers and Prisma pencils, a bit of stickles glitter glue and some Stampin Up Christmas paper.
Ribbon is by Craft Fairy and the red is satin and the green is the most beautiful twill ribbon, It's available in 3 colours but I have my fingers and toes crossed that she will stock more colours in it real soon as I love it.

Judging by the white stuff that is falling in my garden I may be in need of a Winter delivery myself.

Happy Birthday

We are celebrating a Birthday today at La Pashe, Craig is my adopted son (he calls me Mam2)and he is also our Sales Manager at La Pashe and loves a bit of limelight, heis off work today but this is us celebrating his birthday last week.

He is jealous of Jonathan at work who owns a Darth Vader Lightsaber and has gone on and on about wanting one so I made him a Darth Vader Toy and we used a glow stick from Party Room to mimic the Lightsaber (oooh yes you can also get 10% off first orders there too, just stick IMGN2010 in the coupon code).
If you fancy making some of the shown character boxes there is a brilliant site where you can download them free and they have masses to choose from. Toy-a-Day

Dream Team Project of the Month - Distressing

Mo's Dream Team Project of the Month

Its that time again and this Month's theme for the Blog Hop is Distress (paper, ink etc) and was chosen by myself and I and the very start of the blog hop.

We will hold this every third Thursday of the month , we aim to give you a little inspiration and hopefully a few Oooo's and Awe's along the way.

The Dream Team is made up with some of the most talented ladies so be sure to give them all a visit.

This Month my image is Christmas Fairy Mint, I have used a combination of distress techniques both paper distressing and ink distressing, the image was coloured with Copic Markers, glitter added to the fairy wings and glossy accents to the mint sticks although it doesn't show in the photo it really gives dimension to the image.
To purchase Christmas Fairy Mint click here

Next up on the blog hop is the uber talented Peri who will as always have something breath taking to show you.

Once you have done the Blog Hop why not give the Dream Team blog a visit there are many more wonderful creations on there just for you inspiration.
