So Much to do

I have so much to do an so little time to do it in.I have 100 Funeral Order of Service to make and 100 Bookmarks with prayer and ribbons to make for Dads Funeral.
The Prayer Mam choose is perfect and truly reflect what Dad would have wanted.
I've added it below, I hope this doesn't upset anyone but knowing "me" if I was reading this I would want to know what the prayer was.

The Bookmarks will be mounted onto Black Card with a small border showing between the prayer and the card and will have a black silk ribbon tied at the top.

A beautiful idea Jak and and a wonderful poem

The prayer is just perfect Jak... but I have to say one thing, you have not spelled pray right - telling you this as a friend and not to be picky but I am sure you want everything just as it should be, and if you print 100 with a spelling mistake you will not be happy.. and a spell checker would miss it because prey is a real word!!

God bless

Oh what a beautiful prayer, Jak. It didn't upset me, but I have tears in my eyes because it is just perfect. I'm sure that I can tell by the lovely photograph what a wonderful Dad you have had - we are both very lucky in that respect. God bless you all - my thoughts and prayers are with you, and will be especially so on Wednesday.

Love Joan xx

Jak I hope you don't mind me saying, but shouldn't it say "You can close your eyes and PRAY that I'll come back" Oh God I hope you haven't printed another lot!! But the prayer is perfect otherwise. And the bookmarks are a lovely keepsake.

The prayer sums it up beautifully what I think I would like at my funeral, hopefully that is a long way off. Lovely prayer and I think your Dad would have loved it.

Dear Jak The prayer is wonderful, it is never an easy time. Find peace knowing that you are never without your father he is in your heart and will be with you always.

A poem I found helpful is

'Nobody is gone unless you want them to go.
If you don't want them to go, then they will be with you forever.'

I lost my Mum when I was 18 and my Dad in 2001. It leaves a terrible hole in your life to be without a parent but know that as long as you remember them and speak about them that their memory will continue.

Thinking of you and sending you love

Billie

What a wonderful prayer/poem to send your dad off. It's the best way, to be remembered with smiles (even if it's hard at first)and for your loved ones to carry on. He's very lucky to have had such a lovely life with his wonderful family.

Hope this is ok but there's an award waiting for you on my blog. Hope you like it. CLARE x
